Our Scotland location is a valued asset to Dakota Plains not only as an agronomy service center, but also a grain elevator and fertilizer warehouse.  The grain elevator has a capacity of 88,000 bushels that allows us to accept multiple grains such as corn, soybeans, spring wheat, and winter wheat throughout the year.  Having this facility has benefited our customers by having an additional grain dumping site and has also helped provide bushels for loading unit trains (400,000 - 410,000 bu. each) at our N. Tripp facility.  

This location also has tanks that hold about 37,000 gallons of liquid fertilizer and the warehouse stores approximately 900 tons of dry fertilizer that is part of our successful retail and wholesale fertilizer business.    At this facility, we also offer bagged and bulk feeds; seed; packaged and bulk crop protection chemicals; scouting and soil sampling; fertilizer carts for rent; and the equipment to meet your custom applicating and fertilizing needs.
